As a lifetime resident of St. Tammany Parish, I am proud to be a second-generation State Farm agent, following in the footsteps of my father, Robert B. Lewis, who served the Slidell, Louisiana community for 35 years. After graduating from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1984, I began my insurance career at my father’s agency and opened my own agency shortly afterward. I have now spent more than 40 years helping individuals, families, and business owners understand their coverage options and prepare for life’s unexpected moments.
Community has always been an important part of my life. I am a charter member of the Northshore Mandeville Kiwanis Club, where I have participated in volunteer and fundraising efforts since the organization was founded 40 years ago. I have also been honored with recognition including Ambassador Travel and Legion of Honor. My connection to this area runs deep, and I enjoy serving the communities that have supported my family for generations.
My office reflects the way I like to do business. Even when someone is meeting with one of my team members, I enjoy personally greeting everyone who walks through the door. We strive to create a pleasant, relaxed environment where people feel comfortable discussing their insurance needs. My team and I bring more than 50 years of combined insurance experience to the community, and we enjoy helping people make informed decisions about protecting what matters most.
When I am away from the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Margie, my childhood sweetheart of 49 years. Together we raised three children and have been blessed with five grandchildren. I also enjoy boating, exploring the scenic bayous and rivers near home, attending Viper Club and Cars & Coffee events, cheering on LSU and local football teams, and spending time outdoors caring for my property, trees, plants, and landscaping.
